About the event

Join us on Friday November 14,  2025 at The Celtic Club for a special luncheon featuring cricket legend Kim Hughes who will be interviewed by club member Ron Doorn. Meet Kim, enjoy your lunch, drinks and time with him. Over a two-course meal, Kim will reflect on his past Ashes experiences and present an exclusive preview of the 2025‑26 series launching at Optus Stadium on November 21st.

Take advantage of this opportunity to celebrate the Ashes arriving in Perth. For the first time in more than four decades, the Ashes are kicking off in Perth, unfolding under the lights of Optus Stadium. This historic opener marks a bold new chapter, with Perth hosting the series’ opening Test for the first time since 1982–83.
